Thursday, August 25th, 2011 !  Think of it as Extreme Makeover: Athens Homeless Shelter Edition. Our new building needs significant renovations to provide emergency shelter and meals for the homeless we continue to serve. This Friend-Raising event will feature will feature a silent Auction with tons of fantastic items to bid on, as well as the construction items needed to complete the renovations. So drop by Athens First United Methodist Church at 327 N. Lumpkin Street, downtown on Thursday, August 25th, 2011.  Doors open at 6pm, so join us for a fun night and help the Bigger Vision feed and shelter the homeless.
